Pr oducts Descript ion Q & A Q1 : What is the size of the inlet/outlet pipe size required, 1.5" or 2"?  A: The unit will readily accept 2" PVC, if your pipe size is 1.5", that set up will require 2" to 1 1/2" adapters which are easy to buy. Q2 : My pool is 8k gallons. would SC08 salt chlorine generator will be appropriate??   A: Yes, this salt chlorine generator is suitable for all swimming pools up to 10,600 gallons. Q3 : Would you recommend this product for above ground pool?  A: The SC08 is a great option for above ground or inground pools. Q4 : I like very well the product, and thinking to purchase, the main problem I want to know, how you guys measure the qtty of salt?  A: The best working salt concentration of SC CHLORINATOR is 2000 PPM, means it requires 2 kg of salt per 1m³ of water. Q5 : Does this have a normal 110 plug-in or do I need to direct wire it?   A: There is no plug, you will need to make a hardwire installtion on either 110 or 220 voltage. Q6 : Can this be installed vertically? I have no room available on the main line horizontally and was hoping not to install additional pvc.  A: Yes, horizontal or vertical installation is possible.
