Nice Heathkit Sg-8 Rf Signal Generator

This is a Heathkit model # SG-8 RF (Radio Frequency) Signal Generator. It generates RF signals from 160 kHz through 110 MHz (up to 220-MHz by using harmonics, which are calibrated on the front panel frequency control.) It has a built-in AF (Audio Frequency) Generator or can accept an external audio source. It uses two - vacuum tubes. All switches and controls move smoothly. I did apply AC power to the Generator, and while listening to a nearby ICOM HF Ham Radio Receiver, I was able to hear the Generator on several bands as I varied the frequency control. Since only very minimal power-on testing has been done, it's being sold as-is under eBay's condition grading of "For parts or not working" even though it appears to be in very good condition.  Like most vintage test equipment, it will probably need some alignment and calibration.  The copper chassis is in good condition, and I've taken pictures of the insides from multiple angles to show it.  An original SG-8 Instruction Manual with the large fold-out construction sheets and schematic are included.
